Using the integrated PLC function in inverters helps reduce investment costs, installation labor, and installation space.
The function operates, uploads, downloads, and monitors data just like an independent PLC.
1. Steps to implement the PLC program:
• Press MENU on the keyboard --> Select 3: PLC --> ENTER.
• Select PLC2 and confirm by pressing the ENTER key. Warnings will be displayed before the program is uploaded to the PLC.
• Connect the RJ45 of the C2000 inverter to the computer via the RS485-RS232 communication converter cable.
• Download the PLC program to the inverter:
- Press the key to compile the program after writing the code.
- After compiling is complete, select “Write to PLC.” At that point, the program will be downloaded from WPL Soft to the inverter using the pre-defined communication method.
• Run the program:
- From the function screen, select 2. PLC1
- If selected Selecting “Start Monitoring” on the toolbar will switch the PLC into Online mode. Here, users can monitor data/control directly by selecting the two tools.
